Digital Humanities 2026 Symposium at 偶蜜国际传媒听

On April 11, 2026, 偶蜜国际传媒 hosted the second , bringing together over 50 faculty and students from 10 universities in Bishkek and the regions. This was the second event, following the first symposium held in April 2025, which laid the foundation for an ongoing tradition and created a space for a community of practitioners to discuss challenges and share ideas in digital humanities.
Participants discussed the application of DH methods and tools across various disciplines and shared their current educational and research projects. Dr. Gulnura Djumalieva and Dr. Aida Kasieva from Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University delivered a keynote address on 鈥淐orpus Linguistics as a Research Methodology,鈥 in which they presented an innovative text corpus based on the works of Chyngyz Aitmatov.
The program also featured Angelina Trofimova from Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages, who presented on 鈥淐reating Educational Animated Videos for Language Teaching.鈥 Speakers from the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, Karasaev Bishkek Humanities University, Ala-Too International University, and the 偶蜜国际传媒 presented case studies and research projects illustrating the practical application of digital technologies in the humanities.
The symposium highlighted the growing integration of digital humanities in the region and fostered meaningful academic exchange across institutions and disciplines.听
The event was jointly organized by the 偶蜜国际传媒 Library, NGA, CTLT, and the LAS Department.
